Hey Trader,

Finding Sustenance and Fulfillment in Your Trading Journey

I hope this email finds you well. As you navigate the ever-changing world of trading, I wanted to share a verse that speaks to finding true sustenance and fulfillment:

"Then Jesus declared, 'I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.'"

  • John 6:35

In the fast-paced and often demanding environment of trading, it's easy to become consumed by the pursuit of success. This verse reminds us that true fulfillment and sustenance come from a deeper source. By seeking spiritual nourishment and believing in something greater, we find lasting satisfaction and peace.

Let this verse inspire you to approach your trading journey with a focus on what truly sustains and fulfills you. Remember that your worth and well-being are not solely defined by market outcomes, but by the deeper connections and beliefs that guide you.

Embrace this perspective to navigate the ups and downs of trading with a sense of peace and purpose. Wishing you fulfillment, peace, and success in all your endeavors!

Be Relentless In Pursuit Of The Will

Which God Has Set Upon Your Heart,

Daily LIVE Futures Analysis Room Recap + My Personal Trades: 7/25/24

Anthony here with Speciale Analysis. Welcome to the video. Hope you are doing well.

Today, I want to recap the trade I took this morning as I had to leave the office early.

I'll walk you through what I did, why I did it, and how I managed it.

I'll also include a video in the blog post of the trade transpiring so you can witness the management aspect as well.

Currently, we are live with folks in the trade room analyzing the futures market, anticipating economic numbers in about eight minutes.

I took a trade relatively early this morning because I knew the 8:30 numbers could be disruptive, and I didn't have much time to work with the market later in the day.

I didn't have time to manage a position past the time I had to leave the office.

Trade Overview

As you all know, I trade WTI Light Sweet Crude Oil exclusively; however, we do look at the NASDAQ, S&P 500, and Gold Futures as well.

The trade I took this morning was at 7:15 a.m. Eastern Standard Time.

WTI took a pullback just above a significant level and right in between the VWAPs.

The reason I did that was in case this area proved to be newly appointed support.

I was a little bit concerned, but it didn't. We ended up pushing into these prior lows where I continued to take profit until I hit my profit target.

Trade Analysis

What led me to take this trade? Firstly, the VWAPs were a significant factor.

Secondly, the order flow, which you'll see in the image provided in the blog post, indicated strong aggressive buying into the VWAPs on a Hawkeye Wide Bar.

Notice that the price, despite the highest buying volume of the session, failed to close in the upper 10-15%.

Instead, it fell back to maybe the 60-70% of the overall candle move, indicating weakness.

We fell back down, found some support, and then pushed back. Right inside the wick of this candle, we found resistance, which ultimately took us lower.

I did what I always advise my clients to do: pay myself and protect myself.

As soon as there's an opportunity to start taking profit, I move my stop.

In the video included in the blog post, you'll see how I aggressively moved my stop, pinching the price to either push into my target or take me out. ⬇

Management Strategy

Once I start taking profit, I focus on protecting myself and continuing to pay myself.

When the market offers you money, you take it. If the market continues in your direction and you feel confident, you can add more to it.

I entered it perfectly and managed it well. Could I have let it run longer? Sure.

But we started getting jammed up as we came into a consolidated state, and it was important to take my money and move on.

I had plans later in the day and needed to leave my office, so I got up, was effective, did my job, wrote down my notes, and followed my trade plan.

The evidence suggested that we could push lower, which we did. ⬇ See Image Below ⬇

I'm content with the outcome and encourage you to take a few minutes to click over to the blog. Look at the images, watch the video, and see how I managed the trade LIVE.

Conservative Approach

In hindsight, we can always do a better job, but I followed my trade plan, paid and protected myself. I believe in a conservative approach rather than rolling the dice.

This method has proven to work very well for me. I'm not here to hold a trade for six hours.

I want to get in, use a heavily leveraged position, pay and protect myself, and get my stop into break-even or profit as quickly as possible.

I would take the same trade over again with no regrets.
