Greetings,

Finding Courage Through Faith

“Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, be afraid of the One who can destroy both soul and body in hell.” — Matthew 10:28

Matthew 10:28

Unpacking Matthew 10:28

Matthew 10:28 offers a profound teaching that challenges believers to recalibrate their perspective on fear and focus on eternal priorities. In this verse, Jesus is addressing His disciples as He prepares them for the challenges and persecution they will face while proclaiming the gospel. His words provide both a warning and an encouragement, urging them to consider what truly matters in the grand scope of eternity.

The verse begins with the admonition, “Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul.” This is a call to courage, reminding us that physical threats, no matter how severe, are ultimately limited in their impact. The body, though vulnerable, is temporary, while the soul is eternal and beyond the reach of human harm. Jesus is pointing to the reality that earthly power has boundaries; it cannot touch the essence of who we are in God or disrupt the eternal destiny He has planned for us.

This teaching resonates especially in contexts where believers face persecution or opposition for their faith. It challenges us to confront the root of fear. So often, we are afraid of losing our comfort, reputation, or even our lives. Jesus invites His followers to see beyond these fears, focusing instead on the soul’s eternal security. This perspective allows believers to face trials with a sense of peace and steadfastness, knowing that earthly threats cannot rob them of their relationship with God or their place in His kingdom.

The second part of the verse shifts the focus, saying, “Rather, be afraid of the One who can destroy both soul and body in hell.” Here, Jesus redirects the disciples' fear toward a reverent awe of God. This statement is not about promoting a paralyzing fear of God but rather a healthy respect for His authority and justice. God alone holds the power over both physical and spiritual realms, including eternal judgment. This truth serves as a sobering reminder that our ultimate accountability is to God, not man.

This teaching also calls for a reevaluation of priorities. What are we living for? Are we investing more in preserving our physical lives or nurturing our souls? Jesus' words urge us to shift our focus from temporal concerns to eternal realities. This does not mean neglecting the body or earthly responsibilities, but it challenges us to ensure that our spiritual health and relationship with God are central to our lives. In a culture that often prioritizes material success and physical well-being, this verse cuts through the noise, reminding us of what truly matters.

Furthermore, the mention of hell underscores the seriousness of rejecting God’s authority. Jesus does not shy away from the reality of eternal separation from God for those who choose to live apart from Him. This truth should inspire believers not only to live in alignment with God’s will but also to share the gospel with others, emphasizing the eternal stakes of their decisions. It’s a call to action, urging us to prioritize spreading the message of salvation.

For Christians today, this verse remains deeply relevant. Fear often dictates our actions and decisions, whether it’s fear of failure, rejection, or loss. By reminding us of God’s ultimate sovereignty, Jesus frees us from the tyranny of worldly fears. If we trust in God’s control and love, we can face life’s challenges with courage and purpose, knowing that nothing can separate us from Him.

The verse invites us into a deeper relationship with God, one marked by reverence and trust. While the language of fear is used, the broader biblical context reveals God’s character as loving, merciful, and just. True reverence for God leads not to despair but to security and peace. When we align our lives with His will and acknowledge His authority, we find freedom from lesser fears and strength to live boldly for His kingdom.

Closing thoughts as I pray for those reading or hearing this verse today...

Matthew 10:28 challenges us to reconsider the sources of our fear and to place our trust in the One who holds authority over both life and eternity.

It is a call to courage, a reminder of eternal priorities, and an invitation to deepen our trust in God’s sovereignty.

In doing so, we not only overcome earthly fears but also live with the assurance of His eternal presence and protection.

Jesus’ powerful words remind us that true courage comes from understanding where our true protection lies.

The world may present dangers and fears, but they hold nothing compared to the eternal power of God.

Place your trust in Him, for He is the ultimate guardian of your soul and your destiny.

Walk boldly in faith, knowing that earthly threats cannot shake the foundation built upon God’s eternal love and power.

I invite you to experience the Speciale Analysis Family of Traders difference!

Targeting 71.30 Liquidity Inside 90 Seconds!

Trading isn’t just a series of transactions; it’s a journey intertwined with personal experiences, resilience, and discipline.

For those striving to become consistently profitable retail traders, understanding the nuanced interplay between personal life and trading execution is invaluable.

Today, I’m sharing insights from a recent trading day that unfolded amidst less-than-ideal circumstances, offering lessons on discipline, adaptability, and how to navigate trading while managing life’s inevitable interruptions.

Navigating Personal Challenges in Trading

The day started with a rough night, marred by chronic pain that led to poor sleep.

I mention this not for sympathy but to acknowledge a reality every trader will face: life’s challenges don’t pause for the market.

Whether it’s anxiety, fatigue, or personal pain, these elements can influence our mental state and trading performance.

One crucial lesson I’ve learned over the years is to work with what life gives you.

As I often remind my trading community: life is unpredictable, but that doesn’t mean our trading discipline should falter.

It’s during these moments that we must reinforce our mindset and stay committed to our trading plan.

The Importance of Morning Preparation

Despite my challenging night, I woke early, took time to center myself by resting, reading, and reflecting on biblical teachings.

This ritual helps maintain a clear and focused mindset, reinforcing the mental resilience needed to engage with the market effectively.

By the time I sat at my trading desk, I felt prepared—pain or not—to analyze the market and execute my plan.

Capturing a Predictable Setup

This particular trading day was not about monumental moves but capitalizing on a small, predictable opportunity.

Around 3:30 AM, I observed market behavior at the $71.60 level.

This area had triggered an aggressive sell-off during previous sessions, and I kept a close watch as the market retested this level, aligning with the VWAP.

One of the keys to successful trading is avoiding the temptation to guess the highs and lows.

Such speculative trading often results in losses. Instead, I waited for confirmation.

When buying pressure failed to push through $71.60, I recognized a strong likelihood of a rollover, signaling my entry.

The Power of Order Flow Analysis

On the 7:20 AM candle, subtle cues from the order flow confirmed my analysis. These insights indicated that selling pressure could drive the market lower.

My target was set at $71.30, just above the rolling VWAP, where resting liquidity presented an optimal, efficient exit.

This move wasn’t massive—it yielded 12 ticks of profit. While that may sound modest, disciplined traders know that success lies in consistent, repeatable actions.

Quick, well-executed trades can build both confidence and account growth over time.

From Modest Gains to Scalable Success

For newer traders, $120 might seem small. However, it’s essential to remember that trading isn’t just about making large profits on every trade.

It’s about being consistently disciplined, sticking to your edge, and letting your account grow.

As your skills and confidence increase, so does your ability to scale your position size.

In my case, trading with 30 contracts turned those 12 ticks into $3,600—a respectable day’s profit. That’s the power of leveraging a proven edge.

For perspective, earning $3,600 in a week equates to an annual salary in excess of $150,000. This is why mastering your edge and staying true to your strategy pays dividends over time.

Trading with a Clear and Disciplined Mindset

The most valuable takeaway from this session is understanding that trading well doesn’t always mean waiting for the “perfect” big trade.

Instead, it’s about knowing your strategy, executing it with precision, and taking what the market offers without greed or hesitation.

When the market provides a setup, act confidently and decisively. If conditions change or your setup isn’t present, exercise patience.

At the end of this session, I felt fulfilled. I had executed my plan, managed my risk effectively, and secured a profit.

The rest of my morning was dedicated to helping my trading community navigate the opening bell and upcoming economic data releases, reinforcing the importance of trading within a supportive network.

Building Resilience in Trading

Trading is more than just numbers and charts; it’s a test of mental resilience and disciplined action.

Whether you’re managing sleepless nights, unexpected interruptions, or personal struggles, the ability to remain focused on your strategy is what sets successful traders apart.

Remember, it’s not about conquering every high or low but mastering the consistent, repeatable actions that build long-term success.

So, as you approach your trading journey, ask yourself: Are you prepared to face life’s interruptions and still act according to your plan? If so, you’re well on your way to developing the resilience and discipline that make for a truly successful trader.

Stay informed, stay focused and stay disciplined ! ! !

God bless, and have a wonderful day!
